Chrome 18 beta enables 3D content for older GPUs via SwiftShader
Latest Chrome beta improves 2D canvas and enables 3D content for older systems(Windows XP possibly) via SwiftShader.
You can go to chrome://gpu in your pc to find out which features are enabled in your browser.
Since older systems did not support WebGL, Google chrome adds Swift Shader an alternative to WebGl for systems running Windows xp. Though SwiftShader is not fast as WebGL, it will be a good alternative for non WebGL systems.
Chrome detects the older systems autmatically and enables SwiftShader. In case, if it misses it then you can enable it by adding the following flags.
Though it is advisable to upgrade your pc hardwares and softwares to the latest version, this will be a temporary solution.
Type the required flags next to chrome.exe in 'target location'.
